Anne Genge is a professional speaker, educator, and advisor who helps people understand AI, privacy, and cybersecurity in ways that are clear, practical, and genuinely engaging.

For more than 25 years, Anne has worked closely with business owners, healthcare professionals, educators, and IT providers across Canada, helping them leverage technology safely while reducing risk, protecting trust, and meeting privacy and security obligations. Her work bridges the gap between fast-moving technology and the real-world decisions people are expected to make every day. 

Anne’s expertise is grounded in both experience and formal education. She has completed advanced studies in AI & Law at Queen’s University Faculty of Law and AI training through Harvard Medical School, bringing a rare interdisciplinary perspective to how artificial intelligence is developed, implemented, and used in real life. She is also a long-time Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP) and member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP), reflecting deep, sustained expertise in privacy governance and accountability.

 A multi-certified cybersecurity professional, Anne has received global recognition for her work in cyber risk management, ransomware prevention, and cybersecurity education — particularly within healthcare and regulated professions. She is also a proud member of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS).

Known for her “no geek speak” approach, humour, and compelling storytelling, Anne delivers talks that make complex topics accessible without oversimplifying them. Her sessions focus on the human side of technology risk — how everyday behaviour shapes privacy, security, and shared responsibility in a connected world.
